Own webshop domain

You can also run your webshop under your own domain. For this you need the following points:

• An own domain
• SSL certificate for your own domain

It is important that you can edit the C-Name entry in your domain manager.

Create domain

In your shop backend, you can go to "Configuration -> Hostnames" add your own domain.

Click on the button "create" to create a new domain. for the webshop.

Here you can enter your desired domain in the field "Name". (Example: www.MeineDomain.com).

With the option "Default" you can determine whether this domain is your main domain or not. should be;

If all settings are ok, you can save everything with the button "save". in the system.

CNAME Create entry

After creating the new domain, the settings in the Smake system are ready to be used. completely.

Now the domain has to be taught, that it can also be added to the Smake-System. to the police. You can do this with your domain provider, in which you can a CNAME in your DNS for the desired domain.

Example:

CNAME: MyCDNDomain.com.

Value: You can find this under the menu "Configuration -> Hostnames -> [Edit your domain] -> ". under the item "Content Delivery Network (CDN) -> Domain Name".

Important: The CDN domain can not be directly, but only via the redirection of your domain.

SSL certificate
