Which settings has a color

A color has different settings, which are important for different production types.

General

Name

This is where the colour designation for the end customer comes in. It makes the selection of the color in the Shop-Frontend much easier.

Type

The type of color can be selected here. The following types are supported:

- Embroidery thread

- Printing color

HEX

The appropriate color value is entered here. This value is also used for the preview.

Product

Manufacturer

If the color has a manufacturer (e.g. for embroidery threads), this can be entered here.

Group

If the color is grouped into different areas, this can be entered here. For embroidery thread e.g. "Poly-neon" or "classic".

Code

Here comes the corresponding manufacturer code of the color.

Thickness

The thickness is currently only important for embroidery threads and indicates how thick the respective embroidery thread is. Depending on the thickness of the thread, the preview is also displayed differently and the production file will be also created differently.

Type

The type is currently only relevant for embroidery threads and has an effect on the the calculation of the preview and creation of the production file.

Special colors

Pantone

This value is only intended to assist the customer.

HKS

This value is only intended to assist the customer.

HKS %

This value belongs to the "HKS" setting and is only used to assist the customer.

CMYK

This value is only intended to assist the customer.
