Order creation in the shop backend

You can now enter orders for your customers in the shop backend, or you can already use existing orders as a draft for a new order.

To create or edit order drafts switch to the left menu on the page "Drafts" below the main item "Orders". Click on the button "Create" to create a new draft.

To discard the draft, click the "Discard" button and the design will be will be deleted and you will return to the overview of the drafts.

To search for a customer or create a new one simply click in the search field for the customer. You can then add a new customer by clicking on "Add". or search for an existing customer.

Below you can see the window that opens when you create a new customer. There you can also freely enter your own customer number. Optionally you can also enter the address directly here.

To add a product variant click in the input field for product searches and enter a search text. A new product search window will open. See below:

With a click on Select variants a list opens in which you can select the variants. With a click on "Accept selection" these variants will be included in the draft.

Now you can open a selection menu by clicking on the three items:

Here you can add or edit a design (if it has already a design ), download a PDF with the data of the product and the design (for embroidery including thread colors),duplicate the position or delete the position.

With a click on "Add design" the designer opens, independently whether the shop designer is activated for the product. Here you can select and place motifs like in the Shop Designer or upload and place motifs. It is also possible to enter free text.

When your product is ready you can save the design with the button "Save". With "cancel" all changes you have made are discarded;

Once you have finished the product design, you can duplicate this product and then select another color and / or size. To do this, simply click on the displayed color/size

and change the variant to the desired color/size:

You can overwrite the article price by clicking on it. For this another window opens in which you can choose a discount or a final price you can enter. The final price entered may be higher than the original price.

Before you can save the draft as an order, you first have to select the shipping method. Just click on "Add shipping method". A selection window for the shipping method will open:

Now you can save the draft with the button "Mark as paid" as an order:
