If you want that a customer can no longer order in your shop or is excluded from it, you now have the possibility to deactivate these customers. For example, if the customer has not paid his invoice, you can now protect yourself and block this customer until full payment. The beautiful thing: The customers can be enabled again by the shop admin as needed.
How it works:
Log in to your shop backend and go to the menu item "Customers". Search for the desired customer in the list. If you want you can use the search field in the upper area.
Click on the button "Options" in the line of the desired customer - a menu will open - there you select the item "Block customer". Then you will be asked if you really want to perform this action. If you are sure you confirm this with "okay". Now the customer is blocked and can no longer execute orders in your shop or log in to his customer account. In the overview under "Status" the note "blocked" will now appear in red.
If you want to activate or unblock the customer again, click on the button "Options" again, in the menu that opens we now select "Unlock! A query appears for the action, we confirm this again with "Ok" and the lock is lifted again. Now the customer can log in and order as usual! :-)
