As you already know, it is very easy to upload print data in the shop backend and use it for fixed products or the motif box in the designer. But even on this topic questions keep coming up - how do I create my data so that they are produced in original size afterwards?
Short & concisely summarized - That's the way it works:
Create your print motif in Photoshop or a similar program, the background must be transparent so that no white area is printed. In digital direct printing, the data is always created in RGB. The resolution should be 360 dpi! This is very important, because our system works with this number. If data is not created in the correct resolution, a different overall dimension is created in the system by converting to 360 dpi. If, for example, you upload a graphic with only 300 dpi, the total size of the print motif will be smaller. Therefore, always use 360 dpi to keep the original size.
To avoid problems when using positioning aids such as the EPS Tree or EPS Bridge, the file is cropped to the edge of the design. This means that the motif size (height and width) is also the size of the entire document or work area.
- file format: *.png
- Color mode: RGB
- Resolution: 360 dpi
- Transparent background
- Motif size = document size - there must be no blank space around the motif
