1. Start Smake FileSync Tool
Before you can start producing via the Smake system, make sure that the RIP computer is switched on. Then open the FileSync program of Smake (at best you already have a shortcut on your desktop.) Make sure that the program is running in the background. You can see this by the small orange Smake „S“ in your taskbar. |

2. Start RIP Software & Automation
Now also start the RIP program and make sure that the automation is started. To do this, click on „Options“ in the upper menu and then on „Print automation settings“.

Note: Hotfolder pooling interval must be set to „1“ - by default it is set to „20“.
It is important that you already have profiles in your Smake production backend and that they are stored with the same name in your RIP software.
Once these steps are completed, you can start your production as usual using the Smake system.
