1. Turn on the TouchBOX and other hardware components

2. Logging in to the TouchBOX with your employee ID card
After switching on your TouchBOX, the login interface appears first. You should already have created a staff card. If this is not already the case, your production supervisor can create it for you.
Hold the QR Code of your card below the scanner to log in. This is absolutely necessary. Each employee must always log in at the station where they work.
You can find the instructions for managing employees in your production here:
Manage Employees - Printing the Employee Card
3. Creating the „Open Goods“ list
After successful login with the employee card at the station, you will automatically land in the mask „Manufacturer Code“.
Tap with your finger on the menu item „Tools“. Here you will find the item „Code list“ and directly next to it the button „Print“.
By tapping on this button the print job will be sent to your already configured printer and in no time you will receive a list of all jobs not in production for all orders received in your system.
You can also use this list as a picking list to remove the textiles from your stock.
Note: As soon as an ID tag has been printed via the station „Incoming Goods“, the article to be produced is „officially in production“ and therefore does not appear on the goods receipt list the next time it is printed!
Manufacturer code: What is it and where can I find it?
These codes are stored in the backend in the corresponding product in the „Code“ area - this can be an EAN, UPC, Gtin or something similar - the most important thing is that it is unique. It is important that the codes are not too long - even the automatically generated codes are too long for the barcode on the incoming goods list and cannot be scanned.
4. Scan manufacturer code and print ID Tag
Navigate back to the menu item „Manufacturer Code“ and start scanning the „Open Goods“ list . If you have textiles that have an EAN code on it, you can scan it immediately with the scanner.
After a successful scan the textile appears on your TouchBOX - here you have an overview and can check once again if it is really the correct textile. On the left you see the picture of the front view. With the arrow keys you can switch between the pictures and also see the rear view or the side view. On the right side you can see all important information like color, size, description, manufacturer code and manufacturer.
If there are one or more orders for the scanned textile in the system, you will see the total number of open ID-tags in the upper right corner.
If you are sure that the allocation is correct, you can print your ID-tags. You can either print the ID-tags one by one, any number of ID-tags or all of them at once.
Tap on the button „print individual ID-tag“ to print a single ID-tag on the pre-configured label printer.
Press the button „Print multiple ID-tags“ to print all or a desired quantity. After tapping the button, another mask opens and you can now define the quantity by tapping the +/- symbols.
Confirm the desired quantity with the button „Print“ and your ID-tags will be printed directly after each other.
For your convenience and to save time, you can also print the ID Tag by pressing the foot switch and attach it to your textile.
You can either use our hangtags to shoot at it or just stick the sticker on the textile. Now the textile can be passed on for finishing.
Smake ID-Tag
The unique QR-Code for each item is the key and connection between the wishes of your customer and the control of your production. All information are stored in the cloud to fulfill on demand and in real time the needs of your customer.
This is what the Smake ID-Tag tells you without any scan

5. Order-based Incoming Goods
Alternatively, you can also post and pick goods receipts matching selected orders. This is extremely useful if you want to prioritize a particular order or handle it separately.
To do this, tap on the menu item „Order“ and then tap with your finger in the input field, enter the corresponding order ID from your Smake backend via the connected numberpad and press the „Send“ button right next to the input field.
All open items of the purchase order now appear. Next to each listed item is the button „Print“, use this button to print your ID Tag with the label printer.
You can now attach the printed ID Tag to your textile. You can either use our hangtags to shoot at it or just stick the sticker on the textile. Now the textile can be passed on for finishing.
