1. Turn on the TouchBOX and other hardware components
First of all switch on the TouchBOX at your „Pretreatment Station“. On the TouchBOX V4 you will find a switch for this on the bottom side. It may take a few seconds to boot up the TouchBOX Also switch on Pretreatment machine. And also the BigScreen if you have one. |

2. Logging in to the TouchBOX with your employee ID card
After switching on your TouchBOX, the login interface appears first. You should already have created a staff card. If this is not already the case, your production supervisor can create it for you.
Hold the QR Code of your card below the scanner to log in. This is absolutely necessary. Each employee must always log in at the station where they work.

3. Receive information about the Pretreatment
After successful login at the station, you can scan an ID tag directly and an overview of the textile and how it needs to be printed and pre-treated appears.
On the left side you can see which sides of the textile have to be pretreated. If the textile is printed on several sides you can change the side view by tapping here. In the middle of the screen you will see the view in large size. Directly underneath you will also see the motif individually including the size in which the motif will be printed.
The preview and the size of the motif tell you how to set up your pre-treatment machine and how to position the textile. If you have a BigScreen at the station, the same information will be displayed here in large format so that the production step can be seen more clearly.
On the right hand side you will find again the information about the textile such as size, colour and manufacturer. You may even have saved the programs in your pre-treatment machine according to manufacturer and can use this information directly for machine adjustment.
Attention: If, for example, you have a different textile color than the one displayed on the TouchBOX, please contact your production manager directly.
All textiles have to be scanned once before at the PTB TouchBOX. No matter if they really have to be pre-treated or not. The scan at the pretreatment station triggers the RIP process in the background. If the textiles are not scanned at this station, they cannot be scanned or printed at the aeoon DTG station, because no ripped file is available yet and therefore cannot be produced.
4. Possible Error Messages and Notes
