1. Switch on the hardware components and the TouchBOX

- Switch on EPS Bridge Turn on your EPS Bridge by pressing the red button. The projectors will turn on and your EPS Bridge will start. - Switch on BigScreen - EPS software on Kornit PC Your Kornit and its PC are already switched on and ready to use. Now open the EPS software on your Kornit PC.

Next, turn on the TouchBOX at your Kornit DTG station. On the TouchBOX V4 you will find a switch on the bottom side. It may take a few seconds to start up the box.

2. Logging in to the TouchBOX with your employee ID card

After switching on your TouchBOX, the login interface appears first. You should already have created a staff card. If this is not already the case, your production supervisor can create it for you.

Hold the QR Code of your card below the scanner to log in. This is absolutely necessary. Each employee must always log in at the station where they work.

3. Using TouchBOX at the Kornit Station

After successful login with the ID card the interface of the station „DTG Kornit“ appears. Here you have two choices: „Load Print“ and „Load Preview“ - by default „Load Print“ is always selected, so you can quickly start production.

 

Under „Load Preview“ you can scan an ID Tag as usual, but at this point you only get a preview of the job and cannot perform any action.

Scan the ID Tag by holding it under the scanner and the overview of the order to be produced will appear and the print file of the ID Tag will automatically be transferred to your Kornit Quick-P. 

 

On the left side you see the overview of the pages to be printed. In the middle you have a preview of the textile including the print. Below that you can see the motif to be printed and the size of the textile. On the right side you see again the article name, color and size - directly followed by the action buttons „Print later“, „Ready - Scan next Tag“ and „Send to Kornit“.

4. Button "Print Later"   

If you do not want to print this job yet, you can use the button „Print later“. The file will not be locked and can be rescanned at the station at any time.

5. Button "Scan next Tag"   

With this button the ID Tag is closed, the print file is locked and you can start with the next ID Tag.

6. Button "Send to Kornit"   

If the automatic transfer of the file to your Kornit Quick-P did not work, you can easily use this button and a new attempt to load the file will be started.

7. EPS Software & EPS Bridge

Shortcuts for a lot of time saving at the machine:

 

Strg + Shift + i = Invert

Strg + Shift + r = Show / Hide Grid

Strg + Shift + b = black-out projector

Strg + Shift + c = Cross as Mouseover

Strg + Shift + s = save machine profiles

 

Right Click + Shift = Show Coordinates

Successful printing must always be completed by clicking the „Scan next Tag“ button. Otherwise the ID Tag or the corresponding print file is not locked and could be printed again by mistake. In addition, open prints are displayed at the „Quality Control“ station if these are not completed and the textile cannot be sent and must be returned to the DTG station.

8. Possible Error Messages and Notes

Scan ID Tag / Load Print	ERROR!!! ID-Tag with ID „XYZ“ could not be found.	ID- could not be found. Order was cancelled.
