Inventory management

Introduction

We are constantly working on improving our system so that you can use it even better.

There is the new feature of inventory management.
At the client level, it is possible to activate whether the stocks can be maintained for the product variants.
This setting can also be set via the product import.

In the production backend, the stock can then be managed for these variants.

For incoming orders, the stock is automatically reduced by the corresponding quantity.

An export and import of the stocks is also possible in the production backend.

How to use it

Step 1: Activate inventory management

First of all, this feature must be activated for the individual variants for which stocks are to be managed.

This can be controlled manually in the client administration for each individual variant

However, this approach is only useful for a few selected variants.
For a larger number of product variants, it is easier to do this via the product import.
For this purpose, the column "track_inventory" has been added.
If the inventory should be manageable for a variant, a "yes" must be entered there, otherwise please enter a "no".

Step 2: Manage Stock

In the Production-Backend you can manage the stock for the variants with active inventory management

Here you can directly define values for a stock or add to an existing stock.
Export and import are also available
